Synopsis:
The original Bizarro and Bizarro-Lois Lane have a child which does not share their Bizarro appearance. When the other Bizarros learn of this, they try and force the couple to destroy the Bizarro baby. Instead, Bizarro takes the child and hides it in a satellite. When he returns however the satellite is gone, having landed on Earth.
The child is found and turned over to the Midvale Orphanage. Linda Lee, secretly Supergirl, learns of the baby’s powers and tries to hide them. Superman has Linda protect them baby from discovery until he can arange for a robot family to adopt the child. The baby is then taken to Superman’s Fortress where Superman and Supergirl act as foster parents.
The baby’s appearance changes to that of a Bizarro, and Supergirl believes she was responsible. The baby also accidentally creates a Bizarro Supergirl with the duplicator ray. Bizarros sees the baby with his telescopic vision and returns to Earth to retrieve his child. Bizarro Supergirl refuses to hand over the child, forcing Bizarro to gather an army of Bizarro’s to attack Earth.
Superman uses the duplicator ray on some Kryptonite, creating Blue Kryptonite which becomes deadly to Bizarros. The Blue Kryptonite is able to stop the advancing army. Superman then uses the Blue K to take the baby Bizarro away from Bizarro Supergirl, and return him to his rightful parents. They also learn that the transition from normal appearance to that of a Bizarro is standard for all Bizarro children, so Supergirl was not responsible. Finally the Bizarro Supergirl is killed when she landed near some Blue Kryptonite and the radiation ended her life.
