Comments:
This story makes reference to Wonder Girl's father being lost at sea. Since Wonder Woman (and therefore Wonder Girl) were formed from clay, she has no father. Why she believes that she had a father in this story has never been explained, though conceivably she might not have learned of her magical creation until she was older. Hippolyta may simply be hiding the truth from her daughter.
Using Amazon magic, Wonder Woman is able to appear as Wonder Girl and Wonder Woman at the same time. Presumedly, her earlier self has been temporarily displaced in time.
Synopsis:
Wonder Girl longs for a father of her own. When she rescues a man adrift at sea, a head injury causes him to believe that Wonder Girl is his daughter Annie. Wonder Girl plays the part of the man's daughter and practices an acrobat routine with him. When the real Annie is found at sea, the man regains his memory and realizes his mistake. Wonder Girl is saddened that she remains fatherless.
