Synopsis:
Earth’s Fourth of July coincides with a Thanagarian tradition called "Impossible Day," in which citizens perform three impossible feats to honor their mutual ancestor, Rhon Dhu. As Hawkman and Hawkgirl, Katar and Shayera go on a traditional picnic and help out a forest fire by causing it to "rain upwards"; they then capture a band of crooks protected by an electrical force field by throwing lightning at them (in the form of lightning-born fulgarite boulders). Finally, they recover stolen museum relics, despite the thief firing invisible bullets at them, and thus, they fulfill their Thanagarian tradition by performing three "impossible" feats.
