Synopsis:
The Whip appears at a charity party where a thief has convinced guests that he stole the money from the benefit. The detectives working the case pursue him, but the Whip escapes. Meanwhile, Marisa Dillon has identified the real thief by the mud on his boots. The thief and his partner, event organizer Tubby Toomer, try to kill Marisa. The Whip rescues her and takes her to safety.

Back at the party, the detectives find the thief where the real Whip has left him. Toomer shoots his partner to prevent the exposure of his involvement. The Whip then apprehends Tubby and turns him over to the police with the murder weapon.
