Synopsis:
Congo Bill has come to Metropolis seeking Superman’s help. The golden gorilla, known as Congorilla, has been captured and brought to the U.S. Congo Bill needs Superman’s help to track down the ape. Unfortunately, the Man of Steel is away on a mission, so Jimmy Olsen agrees to help Bill search for the missing gorilla. Bill also gives Jimmy the magic ring which allows him to exchange minds with the ape.
Jimmy locates Congorilla and exchanges minds with him in order to capture a band of crooks called the Red Knights. While Jimmy handles the crooks, Congorilla, in Jimmy’s body, climbs to the top of the Planet building. After finishing off the crooks, Jimmy climbs the building to rescue his body. His mind is switched back when the gorilla accidently rubs his ring, and Jimmy falls from the building. Superman makes a last second rescue, and the gorilla is returned to Congo Bill.
