Synopsis:
Lois breaks into the lab of Professor Evans to do some snooping on his time travel experiments. Superman is guarding the lab and warns Lois away, but she returns and triggers the time machine.

Lois is transported to the Golden Age of ancient Greece. She meets a scientist named Epimetheus, who falls in love with Lois. While Lois waits for Superman to rescue her, she explores the city with Epimetheus. He show her a radioactive meteorite that has created mutant creatures. Lois's curiousity causes trouble as she endangers herself to get photographs.

Finally, while Epimetheus is away, Lois opens a forbidden box. Inside the box are flies containing diseases unknown to Greece. Superman arrives to retrieve Lois. When she reaches her own time, she realizes that she must have been the source of the Pandora legend.
