Synopsis:
Lois is forced to pay off the blackmail demands of Roger Madison who has evidence that Superman killed a crew of sailors. Lois tries to hide the fact that she is paying the blackmailer, but her friends become suspicious. Clark Kent investigates her past to find clues that might help identify the blackmailer.
Lois finally meets Madison, who demands that she marry him. Lois takes his car while making her decision. She drives off the road and lands in the hospital. Superman traces the car back to Madison and arrests him. Superman then explains to Lois that the film evidence she saw wasn't what she thought. Superman stopped an atomic missile dropped by aliens to kill a group of alien criminals. The fallout from the blast killed the sailors. However, the sailors were actually the aliens in disguise. Superman was then cleared of wrongdoing.
