Synopsis:
The animated costumes of an interplanetary criminal and lawman confront Superman. He puts the costumes on two of his robots which then fight one another until they are wrecked. The costumes then disappear.
One of the costumes appears at the Daily Planet. It wants Perry White to place an advertisement in the newspaper. To convince Perry, the costume suggests that Clark Kent put on the uniform to discover its power. Clark is forced to put it on.
The uniform knows that Clark is Superman and tries to corrupt him. Clark commits evil deeds, but is able to make sure that other heroes such as Supergirl and Batman are on hand to prevent any real danger. When the costume learns of Clark's deception it decides to commit real evil.
The costume interrupts a police convention and frames Clark for several crimes. Fortunately, he hid his face to prevent the police form identifying him. However, when the costume later forces Superman to turn himself into the police, they discover the uniform under his own costume.
Suddenly, Perry White bursts into the police station and rescues Superman. He is wearing the other alien costume. Superman puts on both costumes which fight one another for control. He then flies to a solar system with an orange sun. The sun weakens the costumes allowing Superman to remove them. Without their host, both uniforms are destroyed.
