Synopsis:
Darwin Jones from the Department of Scientific Investigations is called to a theater performance to watch a sharpshooter named Trogg make several improbable shots while blindfolded. When Jones asks to examine the blindfold, Trogg takes it off. He has no eyes. Before Jones can question the sharpshooter, he flees. Jones gives chase, but he loses Trogg in a darkened room. Trogg is able to see using radar and is unaffected by darkness.
Darwin Jones summons help, and the pursuit of Trogg begins. Trogg uses a cone of darkness to blind his pursuers. Jones orders aluminum strips to be dropped from the air. These confuse Trogg's radar vision, but they do not stop him. Jones eventually finds a machine which Trogg is trying to reach. The borer machine allowed Trogg to come to the surface from a race of underground people. Jones rewires the controls of the machine. When Trogg reaches it, the controls lift Trogg high into the air. The lighter air pressure of the higher elevation causes Trogg's body to explode.
