Synopsis:
The Newsboy Legion visit the offices of Detective Comics where they deliver the news that the Boy Commandos have been killed in action. Jack Kirby and Joe Simon call upon the Sandman for help. The costumed hero agrees to investigate.
The Boy Commandos are still alive. The team was on a mission in Europe to locate a Nazi known as Agent Axis. However, a group of wealthy midgets and their butler masquerading as the Boy Commandos are also behind enemy lines. The midgets lead a strike into Berlin and are killed in the process. The Nazis spread word that the Commandos are dead, but the real Commandos are still alive and fighting.
