Synopsis:
Gabby stumbles into an abandoned theatre and notices that men are rehearsing for a play. He watches the rehearsal in which the men rob a jewelry store. Impressed, he returns to the other boys and brings them along to another rehearsal. Gabby makes enough noise that the men notice. They are real crooks, practicing crimes, so they capture the boys.

When the crooks execute the real crimes, the Guardian realizes that Gabby's story about the play rehearsals was real. He tries to stop one of the crimes, but fails. He then returns to the theatre. Finally, Gabby and the boys help him capture the crooks.
