Synopsis:
Batman breaks up the Dynamic Duo by firing Robin as his partner. Batman goes it alone, while Dick Grayson wanders the streets. Dick is nearby when he sees Batman battling crooks with a new partner. He doesn't realize the other boy is only a dummy designed to draw the fire of the crooks. Batman confronts the gang, but he loses the fight and is sealed in an underground basement.

Later Dick overhears the crooks talking in a restaurant. He follows them as Robin and helps to rescue Batman. Together they defeat the gang. Batman explains that he was protecting Robin after the crooks had threatened to kill him. Batman welcomes Robin back as his partner.
