Oliver Hunt was born with a photographic memory. He uses his amazing ability as a stage performer, but he is unhappy. Gangster Dude Fay approaches Hunt and convinces him to join his gang. Hunt then uses his amazing memory to steal valuable ideas.

Batman and Robin witness one of the robberies and determine Hunt is involved. They later take him prisoner aboard the Batplane. Hunt escapes and memorizes the design of the Batplane, which enables the gang to construct a duplicate. However, when the gang tries to use their plane to kill Batman, Hunt refuses to involve himself further. Hunt then turns on his former partners and helps Batman capture Fay. Batman convinces Hunt to become a counter-intelligence agent, using his amazing memory for his country.
