Comments:
This issue is labeled:"Millennium Week 4".
This story contains a flashback to the meeting of the Guardian and Zamaron at the Green Lantern Citadel depicted in Millennium #1. This flashback incorrectly depicts the presence of Wonder Woman and Nightwing at the meeting. Wonder Woman had not returned to the Man's World until after the meeting as seen in Wonder Woman #12. Nightwing and the other Teen Titans were not invited to the meeting as commented on by the Flash in Millennium #1.
Synopsis:
Aqualad has lost his telepathic abilities as a result of his recent battle with Mento. While working with Aquaman to restore his powers, Aqualad and his mentor discover a group of Manhunters on the ocean floor. The androids are excavating a crashed alien space ship with the help of giant jellyfish creatures. Aquaman is stunned by telepathic feedback while trying to command one of the creatures.
Aqualad is left alone against the Manhunters. By using the electricity generated by the tendrils of the jellyfish creatures, Aqualad is able to shock himself in such a way that his telepathic powers return. Then, rather than commanding the jellyfish, Aqualad asks for their help. The jellyfish respond and help Aqualad defeat the Manhunters. Aqualad and Aquaman then plan to take the ship to the other heroes to discover the purpose behind the Manhunters' interest in it.
