This story continues in the second story of Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #127.

Synopsis:
Jimmy Olsen gives a critical movie review of producer Von Rick's latest science fiction movie. His primary complaint is that the movie features a hero who goes back in time to change the past. From personal experience, Jimmy knows that the past cannot be changed. As a result of the review, the movie performs poorly.

Von Rick is angry at Jimmy. He arranges a party and invites Jimmy. At the party he shows Jimmy a statue of Anubis who guards the portals of time. Jimmy touches the statue and blacks out.

When Jimmy regains consciousness he finds himself in the middle of the Revolutionary War. Von Rick is a general. Due to Jimmy's actions, Nathan Hale, Betsy Ross, and Alexander Hamilton all meet their demise before they can influence historical events. Jimmy is left to wonder if he has caused America to lose the war.
