Synopsis:
Doc Magnus and the Metal Men search for missing Professor Ramsey Norton in his lab. Tina and Doc are caught in the clutches of a giant hand belonging to the professor. He explains that he was working on a growth formula and was dumping his failed experiments into a human-shaped plastic shell that he called Chemo. Somehow Chemo came to life, sprayed the professor with chemicals, then escaped.
The professor dies, and the Metal Men seek out Chemo. It doesn’t take long before Chemo is found, but his chemical breath causes a building to fall, which injures Tina and Lead. The other Metal Men try to stop the chemical giant, but they fail and are destroyed in the process. Doc repairs Tina and goes after Chemo, eventually trapping him underground in a natural gas jet. Finally Doc reconstructs the damaged robots.
