Synopsis:
Television producer Dale Baxter visits Stanhope College on Supergirl Day hoping to uncover the Girl of Steel's secret identity. He hands out costumes to the female students and rigs up secret tests designed to catch the real Supergirl. Linda Danvers raises his suspicions when she is not shocked by electricity and can lift a heavy weight easily. Linda is forced to act quickly to cover her secret.

When the fake costume is damaged while she is performing a rescue, Linda is forced to return to school without it. Baxter has one final test in which he pushes Linda out of a helicopter. He believes that Linda will fly to safety, but instead Linda allows herself to fall to the ground. She the creates a snowbank to protect her secret. Baxter is discredited, and Linda's secret remains safe.
