Synopsis:
While reading about a lost Venus probe, Supergirl receives a message from Superman to travel into the future to practice her time-travel abilities. Supergirl flys into the 21st century where she witnesses the lost probe crash through the dome of an asteroid colony. She flys after it to prevent any more damage, but she is surprised when a young boy uses a device to stop the probe.
While exploring the colony, Supergirl encounters a piece of kryptonite which weakens her. The boy, Tommy, happens along and destroys the kryptonite. Indebted to the boy, Supergirl secretly tries to aid him when he is in trouble. The boy’s gadgets allow him to save himself, and Supergirl is not needed.
Supergirl learns the boy is going to be adopted. The adoptive parents are trapped by some meteors. Supergirl rescues them, and they arrive to adopt Tommy. Supergirl returns home and records the adventure with young Tommy Tomorrow in her diary.
