Comments:
This story is continued from Adventures of Superman #456 and continues in part in Superman #34.

Synopsis:
Superman returns to Earth.

His first stop is the Daily Planet where he is reunited with Perry and Jimmy. He next stops at his apartment to drop off the Eradicator which he has brought with him back to Earth. Next he receives a call from Jimmy alerting him to the attack by Turmoil which has left Lois Lane and Jose Delgado injured. Superman destroys Turmoil, then confronts its master Morgan Edge. Edge has a heart attack and is taken to the hospital. Eventually Superman resumes his Clark Kent identity and returns once more to his apartment where he discovers Matrix disguised as Clark. Matrix has been rendered unconscious by an explosion caused by the Eradicator.

On Apokolips, DeSaad, who had been impersonating Darkseid, is forced to abandon his role as the man behind Intergang.
