Synopsis:
Clark Kent is followed to work by a small dog. Two crooks try shooting at the dog, but Clark protects it. The crooks return again later and kidnap the dog. Clark follows them as Superman and learns that a man named Mr. Z wanted the dog.

Superman finds Mr. Z and saves Lois from him. He then forces the man to reveal his reasons for the attempted murder and kidnapping of the dog. His late aunt had left money to the dog, and if the dog died, he would receive the money. Superman warns him to stay away from the dog, and the frightened man agrees.
