Synopsis:
Bored with writing detective stories, author J.J. Jason decides to solve the biggest mystery of all, Batman's secret identity. Jason concocts a story about a criminal trying to kill him. Batman is called on for protection. Jason is then able to gather circumstantial evidence that Bruce Wayne is Batman. Before Jason can get credible proof of his theory, Batman realizes the author's plan. He then pays a blind and deaf man to play Batman, so that he can appear as Bruce at the same time. Using ventriloquism, Bruce is able to make his fake Batman speak and fool Jason. The author then gives up his quest to find Batman's secret.
