While battling a crook called the Ice King in the streets of Central City, the Flash accidentally uses body language in front of detective Charlie Conwell that makes the detective think he is Barry Allen. The Flash realizes his mistake and tries to cover up his tell.
Later, Iris informs Barry that she is the new drama critic and encourages him to take a role in an amateur performance of Hamlet. Barry lands the part of Horatio. However, the entire cast comes down with a cold on opening night. The Flash fills in. He performs all the roles at superspeed.
After the show, the Flash is exhausted. He has also caught the virus. Just then the Ice King strikes again. The Flash is able to overcome the virus by speeding up his metabolism and healing process. He then defeats the Ice King.
Later, Barry is able to use the same speed trick of appearing in two places at once to divert Charlie's suspicions.
