Synopsis:
Barry Allen attends a performance conducted by Zatanna. He is called on stage to help the female magician. She then suddenly disappears. Zatanna has been summoned into the past to help the magician Namba defeat his enemy Xarkon. However, Xarkon has taken possession of Namba's body. Zatanna is at a loss for how to cast the evil spirit out.

Meanwhile, Barry Allen realizes that Zatanna's disappearance was not part of the show. Using his cosmic treadmill, the Flash is able to track Zatanna's vibrations and follow her into the past. After escaping from a group of entranced guardsmen, the Flash finds Zatanna. The Flash is unable to stop Xarkon, but his sudden appearance gives Zatanna an idea. She kisses Xarkon. The kiss breaks the spell and frees Namba. Flash and Zatanna then return to their own time.
