Synopsis:
The staff of the Daily Planet take part in an aerobics class. While exercising, Jimmy Olsen's body undergoes a transformation causing him to stretch uncontrollably. His friends try to help, but they are unable to get Jimmy under control. He nearly smothers Cat Grant by winding himself around her body and preventing her from breathing. Jimmy finally loosens himself, but his stretching continues.
Clark leaves the scene in order to switch into his Superman identity. He tries to help Jimmy, but his friend's body is too pliable to contain. Jimmy causes damage around the city as he fights to gain control of his own body. Eventually, Superman is able to trap Jimmy in his cape and take him to Professor Hamilton.
Jimmy's body returns to normal, but he is traumatized by the transformation. Hamilton keeps him isolated in order to analyze the conditions which caused Jimmy's uncontrolled stretching. He eventually determines that a virus is responsible for altering Jimmy's DNA. By analyzing the rate of change in the virus, Hamilton determines that Jimmy was infected when Superman returned to Earth.
