Synopsis:
Arak and Satyricus pause to reminisce before continuing on their journey to Arak's homeland. Arak tells Satyricus about a girl named Amber who was a servant to the viking Jarl, Ottar. To protect the girl from Sigvald, the leader of his group, Arak went on a quest to find the largest piece of amber. His quest led him to an encounter with Dziewona, Dyanna's sister, who controlled a beast made of amber. Although, he successfully retrieved a large piece of amber, he returned too late. Ottar died while he was away. Upholding to tradition his servant Amber was killed with him. Arak began to want to leave the company of the vikings as a result. When his band sailed south, they would be killed during Arak's first meeting with the sorceress Angelica.
