The current ambassador was kidnapped by the Companeros De La Muerte, a terrorist group who are holding him for ransom. After Bruce accepts the appointment, he arrives in South America. He meets Sgt. Rock at the embassy. Rock was overseeing security when Ambassador Adams was kidnapped.
While Bruce handles diplomatic matters, Batman begins the search for Adams. He is targeted by assassins twice. Rock is nearby both times. When a bug is found in Bruce's rooms, further evidence points to Rock as a traitor.
Meanwhile, a young boy delivers a lead to the whereabouts of the ambassador. Batman follows the kidnappers back to the a secret room inside the U.S. embassy. Rock has followed and together they rescue Adams. Rock clears his name and the real traitor is revealed to by Abbot Carlyle, the ambassador's secretary.
