Comments:
This story continues in part in New Gods #7.

Synopsis:
Orion visits Earth to seek the council of Dave Lincoln. His stay is interrupted when Lightray arrives to inform him that Eve Donner has been abducted. The two New Gods then stage a raid on Apokolips to rescue her. They succeed, but both are struck by rays from Darkseid's Omega Force.

On New Genesis, Highfather reclaims his authority by dissolving the ruling council. On Apokolips, Darkseid deals with an uprising by the Dreggs.
