Synopsis:
Japanese Colonel Hakawa is fond of practical jokes which he uses against the American marines. Gunner and Sarge face several of his jokes that precede enemy attacks. After surviving serveral attacks, Sarge falls victim to jungle fever, leaving Gunner and Pooch to stop the next attack alone. They succeed, but Gunner's hands are horribly burned and both are captured.

Col. Hakawa allows Gunner and Pooch to go free, but he is really just playing a practical joke on them as he has a unit of soldiers waiting to kill them. Gunner is unable to fire his weapon due to his injured hands. Instead, he has Pooch pull the firing pin on a grenade. Pooch then delivers the grenade to the enemy. Pooch is wounded, but his bravery allows both Gunner and himself to survive.
