Comments:
This story takes place before Darkseid renewed the conflict between Apokolips and New Genesis.

Synopsis:
A man named Lonar explores the ruins of an ancient city on New Genesis. The city was destroyed in a holocaust, but Lonar discovers an object the has been kept in suspended animation. Using a Mother Box, Lonar is able to blast through the encasement and free a war horse trapped inside. The city erupts in flame, but Lonar is able to ride the horse to safety.
