Synopsis:
Tatsinda brings Deadman back to Earth. He then finds Ocean Master and possesses his body. In the body of Orm, Deadman is able to enter the alien ship and learn more about their plans. Once he has enough information, he starts a fight. To prevent him from causing further damage, the aliens paralyze themselves to prevent Deadman from taking over their bodies.
Without a body, Deadman finds it difficult to destroy the alien mind-warping devices. Despite difficulty he succeeds by possessing the bodies of nearby animals. However, he is still unable to stop the alien ship.
He decides to enlist Aquaman's help. Deadman has learned that the aliens shrunk Aquaman to microscopic size and placed him in the microverse inside Mera's ring. Deadman inhabits Vulko's body and helps Mera bring her husband home.
When the aliens activate their mind-warping machine it backfires. Deadman thinks he was responsible, but Tatsinda explains that she was the one who disabled their weapon.
