Synopsis:
Easy Company is joined by a new recruit that carries an American flag with him. Easy names him Flag Boy, but Sgt. Rock tells him not to display the flag since it will draw attention and enemy fire. Flag Boy wants to carry it proudly in battle, but Rock's warning is justified when an enemy sniper takes shots at them.

Easy Company is then ordered to take Broken Neck Hill from the enemy. While marching up the hill, Easy is fired upon and loses their momentum. Rock has Flag Boy raise his flag to inspire the troops. Easy rallies behind the flag and takes the hill.
