Synopsis:
While waiting to rendez-vous with a team of English soldiers, Easy Company falls under enemy fire. The bursting shells cause Rock to lose his hearing. Rather than admit weakness, the sergeant does not reveal his condition to the rest of his unit.

The English arrive and join Easy Company on a mission to capture a nearby castle. The English commander warns Rock about booby traps, but the sergeant does not hear him. Sgt. Rock pushes forward into the castle where the Nazis are waiting. In the ensuing battle, the castle is destroyed. The explosion restores Rock's hearing without the other soldiers learning that he ever lost it.
