Synopsis:
Sgt. Rock and Easy Company are pinned down by an enemy machine gun nest. He orders men to charge, but they are gunned down. He and a few others remain stuck in a trench. Rock orders the remaining men to split up. Half go left, half go right.

The two men sent left are Rickey and Mac. Rickey is scared, but charges to the left anyway. Mac does not follow. Rickey is hit, but continues on to fight the Nazis. After defeating them, he crawls back to Mac angrily. He died from his wounds before reaching his partner. When Rock finds both of them, he discovers that Mac was hit. He didn't leave the trench with Rickey because he was already dead.
