Synopsis:
The Hellcats are given a suicide mission in anticipation for the D-Day invasion of France. They take a fishing boat secretly loaded with dynamite near the French coastline. The Nazis intercept and capture them. The boat is inspected and taken inside the bunkers which protect the Nazi submarine fleet from aerial attack. The dynamite hidden inside the hull of the boat then explodes, crippling the submarines base.
In the confusion the Hellcats escape. They make their way across country to a prearranged rendezvous point. They are pursued by the enemy commander Major Von Kramm. The Hellcats commandeer an enemy tank, then wait for their rescue plane to pick them up. Lt. Hunter stays behind to guard the rear while the others board the plane. Von Kramm tries to stop them, but Hunter surprises the Nazis from behind.
Von Kramm and Hunter fight the final battle as the plane is taking off. The Nazi tries to knock Hunter into the plane's spinning propeller, but the Hellcat leader ducks. Von Kramm falls into the propeller and is killed. Hunter the boards the plane and is able to escape.
