Travis Morgan and Mariah meet with Machiste on the patio of his Kiro palace. Suddenly, a group of large flying creatures attack. One of them abducts Mariah. Morgan captures one of the creatures and uses it to follow her. Machiste joins him.
The creature carries Morgan and Machiste to a floating city in the sky. Upon landing inside the city the pair are attacked by robots. After defeating them, Morgan and Machiste find Mariah peaceful chatting with the city's cyborg caretaker Tragg. Mariah convinces the others to stay and explore the city. Tragg then leads them into a trap, locking Morgan and Machiste is a freezer.
Machiste frees Morgan from the ice with his newly fashioned mace-hand. The Warlord then shoots the device which is freezing them with his pistol. They escape the freezer and locate Tragg who activates the city's defenses. Morgan drops his gun, but Mariah grabs it and shoots Tragg. Without the caretaker, the floating city begins to come apart and fall to the ground. Morgan fashions three gliders made from curtains which allow his group to escape the falling city safely.
