Synopsis:
A gang of crooks steal a valuable key from Crystal, a friend of Ted Grant. They sell the key to Abner Monday, a key collector, then realize it opens a treasure chest. The crooks return for the key and kidnap Crystal.

Wildcat has been trying to track down the key himself. He follows the crooks to the treasure site and waits for them to dig up the chest. Then he knocks them out. Crystal opens the chest only to discover it empty. Wildcat explains that there is a reward for the crooks, so she will get some treasure after all.
