Synopsis:
Alan Scott saves a man from being run down by a car. Later, he learns that the man was killed in another accident. Alan investigates as Green Lantern, saving the life of another man, Hodges. GL learns that a gambling boss, Slade, is having the men sign insurance policies with him as the beneficiary. Then Slade has them killed. GL goes undercover as Mr. Titus and is the apparent victim of the same scheme. GL gets Slade’s men to confess, exposing the racket. In the confrontation however, Slade is killed.
