Synopsis:
Tex Thomson travels to a small island off the coast of Africa to investigate the disappearance of three reporters. He and his companions are soon captured by a scientist that has invented an invisibility steam. They are thrown into a dungeon, where they meet Inspector Burke, a victim of the invisibility steam. Tex helps Burke escape. The inspector apprehends the scientist and forces him to reveal the antidote for the invisibility. After Tex is freed from captivity, the scientist kills himself, taking the secret of the invisibility steam with him.
