Synopsis:
The police commissioner of a metropolitan city asks Zatara for help in stopping a recent crime wave. Zatara investigates and soon deduces that the crimes are planned by a brilliant strategist whom he learns is named Asmodeus. Zatara's begins following clues which lead him to the Tigress. Before he can force her to tell him about her involvement, she is struck by amnesia gas. Despite this setback, Zatara is able to get a location from her which leads him to Asmodeus, who is soon apprehended.
