Synopsis:
Hop, Wash, and Ikky bring Mr. Purdy and his hillbilly clan back to their home until the flood waters in their valley subside. Miss Snap is surprised by the additional guests who begin to harass her friend Professor Twink. Eventually Twink returns to his mansion, but the Purdy children follow him. Hop and the others go after them. When they reach Twink's home they are shocked to find that he is happy with the children. The Purdy's have provided him with rare fossils that he needs to complete his latest book.
