Synopsis:
Jennifer Morgan attempts to cure Rostov of his werewolf curse. She finds that the curse is powerful, so she uses magic to find the truth behind its source. She and the others learn that Rostov's grandfather Mikhail fell in love with the gypsy woman Gitana. Before they were married, Mikhail was shot and wounded by a rival. Gitana uses the blood of a wolf to heal her lover.
The couple later married. Gitana became pregnant and gave birth to twins. One of the babies had wolf-like features. Mikhail took the misshapen baby and killed it and himself. They other child grew up and gave birth to Mikola, passing on the curse of the wolf.
