Synopsis:
Hawk attends an anti-terrorism conference in Denver. The seminar is interrupted when the local nuclear power plant is taken over by terrorists. Hawk goes to the plant and discovers that the terrorists are not human. The terrorists are actually insects who demand that humans cease their destruction of the rain forest and other environmentally damaging behaviors. Hawk saves the power plant using sonics that harm the insects who are attempting to cause a meltdown. However, the insect threat is far from over. Hawk agrees to begin negotiating with the insects by meeting them in Mato Grosso.
