Synopsis:
Starfire receives an interstellar message from her brother Ryand'r. He tells Koriand'r that he has left home to escape the cruel reign of Komand'r. Ryand'r rejoins the Omega Men who explain that Primus and Kalista have been missing for months on Euphorix, a world ravaged by the Spider Guild. With Ryand'r in tow, the team begins a rescue mission.
Ynda leads the team to a well near a great forest that was destroyed by the Spider Guild. They face a variety of death traps in the caves beneath the well. Eventually they deduce that the traps are illusions created by the Psions. After defeating the illusions, the Omega Men locate Primus and Kalista who have been trapped alone in the Psion base. Kalista is pregnant, but they have no way to leave. Elu finds a way back to the surface and their starship. The Omega Men then plan to free the surface of Euphorix from the Spider Guild.
