Synopsis:
Bookworm and college psychology professor Jonathan Crane turns to racketeering to earn money for his books. He dresses as a Scarecrow and uses fear as a weapon in his crimes. His activities bring Crane into contact with Batman and Robin. He manages to escape them after the initial encounter, but Batman is tipped off to Crane’s identity by the president of the college Crane works for. In a second meeting, Batman is successful in apprehending Scarecrow and ending his reign of terror.
