Synopsis:
Clarice Winston contacts her former finacee, Jim Corrigan, to help convince her mother that psychic Rhani Set is a fake. Corrigan accompanies Clarice and her mother to visit the mystic. Using his powers as the Spectre, Corrigan exposes Rhani's phony operation. Mrs. Winston storms out threatening to sue.

Believing Corrigan was behind the exposure, Rhani Set is determined to get even. He orders Corrigan murdered. As the Spectre, Corrigan survives, then he stops Rhani from harming Mrs. Winston. Unfortunately the mystic succeeds in kidnapping Clarice.

The Spectre locates Clarice, but Rhani attempts to shoot her. Before the Spectre can stop the bullet, the Voice which granted him his powers summons him. The Spectre is offered his chance at eternal rest, but he chooses instead to return to Earth to rescue Clarice. He is returned to Earth by the Voice and proceeds to save Clarice. He then scares Rhani and his assistant to death.
