This story is continued from Infinity Inc. #40.

Synopsis:
Jonni's Thunderbolt has captured Skyman and uses him as a host for a male energy being. The bodies of Skyman and Jonni are then found by police and turned over to Infinity Inc. Both are in comas, and the Thunderbolts have disappeared

Following a clue left by Jonni, Jade, Obsidian, and Brainwave fly to Peru where the Thunderbolts are digging for more statues that hold more energy beings. A battle ensues. The heroes lose, but the Thunderbolts are tricked into reentering their statues which Brainwave has disguised as the bodies of Skyman and Jonni. The Thunderbolts are trapped, and Jade buries the statues deep inside a mountain.

With the Thunderbolts defeated, Jonni and Skyman regain consciousness back in Los Angeles.
