Synopsis:
The members of Infinity Inc. have split into teams to locate Mr. Bones and Solomon Grundy after the murder of Skyman. Jade and Brainwave locate Grundy. However, the are surprised when what they see is only a duplicate Grundy made of paper machete. Artemis and Icicle then attack them. The archer shoots Jade in the hand using a wooden arrow which nullifies her power pulse. The heroes are defeated and left behind, presumed dead.
Meanwhile, the Dummy, Harlequin, and Hazard attack Stripesy. After they defeat him, the Dummy pulls a gun. He intends to shoot Dugan and his young son Mikey.
Elsewhere, the remaining members of Infinity Inc. visit the facility where Helix is being held. Mr. Bones is on his way there as well. They learn that Dr. Love is still alive and has turned the members of Helix into his slaves. Mr. Bones joins Infinity Inc. against them. They eventually break free from Love's control and kill him. Helix departs, but they will not accept Bones as one of their own anymore. Bones claims innocence in the matter of Skyman's murder. The Infinitors believe him and return home empty-handed.
