Synopsis:
Eric Strauss and Nabu confront Stoner who has gained control of Doctor Fate's helmet and amulet. Strauss is nearly killed, but Linda's presence sustains him. Kent Nelson has realized that Doctor Fate must be two people working together and instructs Linda to merge with Eric. When she does so, they form a new Doctor Fate.
After Typhon, the Lord of Chaos possessing Stone, admits defeat, Fate and Kent Nelson return to the Salem tower. Kent asks Nabu to abandon his body and he dies. Nabu returns to face the Lords of Order, but he will not return to them. Instead he inhabits Kent Nelson's corpse and returns to Earth to advise Eric and Linda. Upon his return the Salem tower is demolished.
