Synopsis:
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen travel to the Middle East in search of missing reporter Henry Kanfield who was taken hostage by extremists. After leaving Jordan, the reporters encounter an ambush. Clark creates a distraction allowing their guide Jawad Al Gurdan to get Jimmy. Once he is alone with the terrorists, Clark is free to use his powers to subdue them. He then rescues two hostages.
Meanwhile, Jimmy and Jawad encounter an alien woman who lures them into the desert. By the time Superman arrives to help, she takes Jimmy through a portal into another dimension. Superman dispatches a sand creature, then follows.
In the alien dimension, Superman fights to save Jimmy. The alien emperor intends to use Jimmy as a host body for his son Ahkry. The girl who brought Jimmy to the alien dimension, Tehra, switches sides and eventually aids Superman in rescuing Jimmy. When the emperor is killed, Superman learns that the dead body of Henry Kanfield was serving as his host. Tehra returns Superman and Jimmy to Earth, while her friend Zander takes the emperor's mask and office.
