Synopsis:
Constantine shadows four British boys out to commit mayhem. He watches them follow a man into a public restroom with the intent to beat him. John reluctantly follows them inside. However, when John enters, the bathroom is empty. There is blood everywhere including the words Damnation Army written in blood.
The man the boys followed was actually a demon named Nergal. He killed the boys and took their bodies into the sewer. Nergal is constructing a Damnation Army full of evil souls. He joins the bodies of the dead boys and reanimates their flesh. The monstrosity is then sent to kill John's friend Zed.
Constantine visits Zed and scares off a trio of God's Warriors who claim that the Tongues of Fire have ordered Zed brought to them. When the monster, which calls itself the Ironfist Avenger, attacks John first believes it is after him. When it attacks Zed instead, he tries to protect her. John is able to turn the monster upon itself when he realizes that the boys are vigorous fans of rival soccer teams. While the monster tears itself to pieces, John takes Zed to a safe house.
